If the answer is yes then we can see the added value Saban brings immediately.

If Saban signs an extension with Bama, is there any other coach that would cause you to consider Texas because you believe you would have a chance to make the 4 team playoff?

I think based on his contract that he not allowed to contact or recruit any of Alabama targets(think it may have to do if they ever had texas listed as a favorite or something) if he changes schools.

Texas recruits itself. It's not like Brown lacks talent now or since 2009. But it also true that new coaches can draw recruits who otherwise would not have been interested in a program.

The question specifically asks about the kind of players who sign with Bama. That being the focus, I would say Kirby Smart should do the trick.
