If Mack is intentionally thwarting Saban can we just fire him?

Seriously. I'd obviously rather he just leave but all of this "digging in" crap. How can he dig in if he's fired? So what if it looks bad? It's almost as if he's sabotaging next season if he doesn't exit in very short order and that alone is reason to can him.

If Mack does the right thing he's fine by me. I'll always appreciate him. But if his sour grapes wind up annihilating this recruiting class and sticking us with freaking Jim Mora, Jr or something I'm going to be beyond pissed.

I would think that would be the next logical step. Mack is taking his legacy and pissing it off, IMO. He can't realistically think he'll return in 2014? Can you imagine the contempt fans will have for him if he chooses to dig in and fight, causing Texas to lose out on a chance to get the best college coach of the past quarter century?
