Say what you want about Charlie Strong but he is his own man. I love it. He is going to do this his way & doesn't care what anyone thinks. I admire people who are not scared to fall on the sword for what they believe & are not influenced by others who may or may not have their best interest in mind. Way to go Coach Strong for cleaning house & changing the entitlement attitude in Bellmont.

If we had a clue what the overall plan was, it would be a lot easier to support the guy. He just canned Suddes. I'm ok with that, but does it really make sense to cut loose the recruiting staff a month before signing day? Couldn't he have waited to have as much help as possible in keeping the class together, especially seeing how we have lost four commits so far and may well lose others? Strong doesn't even know the names of our commits yet. Firing the people who do a month before signing day makes me wonder a bit.

I don't know if this will lead to more wins or not. That was not the point of my post. My point was he is his own man. He will live & die with his actions. I admire that. One thing for sure you won't hear coach Strong making excuses in the press conference every week. I am pretty sure also he is not Scared to death

I think it's good that we don't know the plan of the head coach..think about how much time Mack spent trying to justify his actions to the fan base...time wasted. How can you be sure that he does not know about the recruits? I mean he could have had Suddes prepare an update for him on each recruit then canned the guy after that. It makes no sense to be for a fan base to have such strong ties to the one year player personnel guy.

Maybe we lost those commits because Strong told them they may want to look around. I think his plan is very clear. Change the culture & recruit tough football players.

I have a call into Strong's office to let him know we are all waiting on the Hornspots.com briefing on his plan. i made it clear that entire lot of the amateur college football executives that live here in between our day jobs were very upset that we have not had our briefing on what "the plan" is.

I am confident that Coach Strong will be providing the briefing here shortly.
