I just want to point this out about Charlie Strong

We could do worse then strong (mora, franklin) but he wouldn't be in the list of guys I'm thrilled about. If I had a say, which obviously I don't, it would the following:

A+: Harbaugh (simply due to age and longevity)

A: Saban/Meyer

A-: Fisher/Malzahn/Gruden

B+: Anderson/Briles

B: Strong/Gundy

C+: Mora/Fitzgerald

C-: Franklin

I think anything B+ and above is an upgrade. I'm comparing to UNC Mack, not to the guy who's been washed up and not driven since 2010. For anyone in the know....is Anderson even a consideration? I think he's a guy who has the potential to be an elite head coach, assuming the spotlight in Austin doesn't prove too much.

Had Strong as my #1 at the beginning of the season should this situation arise. Now I'd say he's he #5 or #6 choice.
