This should put in perspective how bad A&M's defense will be.
Starting Defense:
DE- Obioha (38 tackles, 1 sack)
NT- Walker (5 tackles)
DT- Williams (27 tackles, 2.5 sacks)
RUSH-Hall (29 tackles)
To put this in perspective Ced Reed had 6.5 more sacks than Aggys entire d-line. Also, Ced Reed only had 20 less tackles than Aggys entire d-line combined.
SLB-Baggs (30 tackles)
MLB-Mastro (26 tackles)
WLB-Hilliard (hasn't played a down)
To put this in perspective, Steve Edmond had more sacks and tackles than Aggys entire linebacking core. Edmonds also missed a couple games due to injury.
CB-Davis (never played a down)
BS-Matthews (90 tackles, 3 interceptions)
FS-Armanti Watts (never played a down)
CB-Everett (73 tackles, 2 interceptions)
Nick-Burns(2 tackles)
So essentially they will be starting 3 guys in the secondary with no experience and there two leading returning tacklers are in the secondary. Matthews has the best numbers on the team and he might be the worst safety I've ever seen (even Aggys make wheel route jokes about him).
