Huge transfer rumor?

Tuxedo Yoda tweeted today that the Brown transfer was a done deal. I also spoke with a source of sorts that said this looked like it was going to happen. This is a rumor that is growing strong. I hope, for our sake, it is false.... Also fo note is there are thoughts that some of the coaches were not happy with him because he refused to play while recovering from the injury.

I heard it here and elsewhere. My source told me he hadn't heard about it, but couldn't rule out something Monday since MB would be with family this weekend.

I took it to print with the caveat I couldn't confirm it. Guys on local sports radio 1300 here had heard it this morning.

Now I hear this news from BB, and MB has done nothing to deny this. Very interesting

Hate to see him go but you gotta do what you gotta do. Going to Agie would make it easier for me to write him off.

If it is true, might be before the end of the season before we hear anything.

I find it crazy if this is a done deal, why is he traveling with the team to KSU and might even play. The coaches have to know something as well. You would think but then again they might not know shit which does not surprise because they seem clueless on many levels.

ANd does the potential for Mack leaving have an impact on some of these guys that are considering transferring? Many a parent sent their kid to play at Texas because they knew Coach Brown would take care of them.

It was mentioned last night that Malcolm Brown did not play much in the TCU game because of an ankle injury that he reaggravated in the Iowa State game. This ankle injury has really dragged on for a while. No mention of this at Mack's presser on Monday....

I think you are on to the heart of the matter here. If there was any heat to the fire we would have heard someone mention it to Mack in his press conference. Either way Mack would have side stepped the issue but interesting that no one brought it up.

He is staying at ut
At least he released it via Twitter today that he is staying. Hope he does because of the Hicks decommitment.

He was the best back in the TCU game. He is a cross between Big Joe and JG..He is going to be a stud in the pros..You need more than one back and two great ones keeps one fresh all the time..and JB is a fixture on those short and not much..

I didn't think he was leaving.

Will all of y'all PLEASE shut up and quit asking me if I'm transferring. No I'm not! And it has NEVER crossed my mind.

Finn ‏@MallyCat_28

Why would I ever try to get away from this opportunity that The Lord has blessed me with by being able to play at THE University of Texas.

Finn ‏@MallyCat_28

Yall cats with these rumors are a trip. Your honestly an idiot if you ever even thought I would think about transferring. Now quit asking.

Finn ‏@MallyCat_28

That is all lol

Sure doesn't sound like it and thank goodness.

Some of you had info too good to be untrue. I'm assuming with the Hicks decommitment and the lukewarm reception out of A&M he elected to stay put.

Now....can he actually stay on the field?

I hope he can stay healthy for a full season.......

PLus our running game underperformed this season, big time. The O-line is getting better so hopefully we develop into an offense that takes advantage of our strengths. These talented RB's are too good to waste.
