So we finally made it to Jan 3rd. Without Saban saying flat out I am not coming to Texas, how many days until you yourself think Saban said "no" to the job? Do you expect an announcement Fri, Sat, Sun? I think if Monday morning hits, he is'nt coming. Here's to Sun!

If we wake up Saturday morning and Saban has not confessed his love for all that is Burnt Orange than the dream is over.

...first of all, your "signature" is totally cool. second, saban needs to stay at home...

I have noticed that monarch likes to play with font colors.

As to the OP...I sure hope we get him.

I don't agree with your opinion that Saban needs to stay home, he's still the best coach in the business IMO, I still want him, but like I said, just my opinion not attacking in anyway

Saban can find a DC thst can figure it out. Remember, its his job to manage everything. That is where we need him.

I feel that if Saban wants it, we would give him until Monday (absolute latest). More likely would be until Saturday. Odds are he has his mind made up already and will move quickly, but he may not want to look like he is bolting right after the bowl loss. That being said, we could have his decision by tomorrow but it not go public until Monday. Remember they have done a good job of plugging the leaks on this Saban deal after the banquet fiasco so they could keep it under wraps if they wanted/needed to

If never seen so many people start bailing on saban, u guys do realize he doesn't call the defensive plays right.

They lost big deal his team was one fluke play away from playing for a title.

This was Ou superbowl ofcourse they wanted it more, I blame the players not saban.

A single loss to a much improved OU squad is now a darker blemish for many than his multiple NCs can clean up. Truly amazed at our fickleness.

The notion Texas needs to pass is just silly but I seriously doubt anything is announced today. He could tell Texas something but that doesn't mean there is a press conf

I expect a lot of rumors today. I'm sure we will hear things like Brady Hoke is now a top candidate or a lot of Saban to Texas talk.

After last night's game, I'm surprised we haven't had a "Mike Stoops to Texas" thread.
You jest, I'm sure, but you're not too far off. I don't know if we all will survive if this goes past the weekend.

if Saban is going to make the move I dont think you want to see Texas call a press conf this weekend. Just my opinion
