I got a text just now that Wyatt is still in play, although not confirmed to stay, that this might be the scenario as of today.

Wyatt was Co-OC last year. He would be a "C" hire as Co-OC. I like him as a WR coach only.

He wasn't the guy in charge of the show last year, that wasn't his O, it was Major's. I am still not sure about it though. I don't know enough about him (or Riley) as a play caller..

Not sure if true, but i heard rumbling that a lot of our big plays this past season were Wyatts suggestions. Searles called the td throw to de la torre at wvu. Makes you wonder if Wyatt needed more control if true.

With that said, I've attended several Mack camps with my oldest son. Talked to Wyatt about WR drills/practice and my son was in one of his groups.

I think he would do a great job if given the opportunity. It's not his fault Mike Davis has bi-polar catching tendencies. ;-)

I heard those rumors too, about him calling some of the more successful plays..I don't know though, I think you like to see someone w more experience, but I am willing to let it play out.
