HornSports Members Prediction Thread: Baylor

This game has me nervous as I worry the players will take BU lightly . No predictions but just shut down Baylor's run game and make Brewer beat you throwing the ball .  We should be fine if that happens.

Another shootout this weekend..horns defense plays hard but gives up too many big plays...49-42 Texas

21-10 Baylor

We go from confident to cocky and let the Bears shock us.

Herman has coached the team up against ranked opponents and broke a streak against K State but he hasn’t proved he can beat a inferior team at home one week after beating OU yet. I’m not sold

I have the rest of the season broken down into two categories. The teams we should have no business losing to and the teams we better play well or were going to lose.

Kansas, Iowa State, and Baylor are the teams that we should beat unless we don't show up or have a number of turnovers.

West Virginia is a top ten team with one of the top QB's this year. The two trap games left on our schedule will be having to play Oklahoma State and Texas Tech on the road. Mike Gundy has been tough to beat in Stillwater and a game in Lubbock has always been rough.

Baylor has a terrible defense. They gave up 66 points to OU and Alex Barnes had 250 yards last week. Barnes had 80 yards the week before against UT. However, it wouldn't surprise me if we came out slowly from an OU hangover.

UT 45

Baylor 21

Texas does just enough not to ruin last weeks win.

I posted something very similar to this over on the Longhorns jump to #14 thread:

"re: the remainder of the schedule, it is pretty favorable towards the Horns:
Baylor is not the Baylor we once feared by any stretch.
Which OSU shows up?  Playing them in Stillwater is no longer the "L" I thought it would be early in the season.
So glad we have WVU at home.  I like our chances much better.
TCEH in Lubbock always scares me to death. Mostly because I have to live around all these wanna-be contenders.
ISU and KU are playing better than the doormats of old, but the Horns should still handle them pretty well.

I'm thinking 5-1 through the remaining conference games."

I respect the couple of dissenting opinions that followed, but I agree that the game in Lubbock is a trap game.
