On Sunday I took in the THSBCA All-Star game out at the Dell Diamond. It was a great way to see some of these kids play in a competitive environment where the outcome did not matter. There were a lot of players that will be playing D1 Baseball, 3 of them will be at Texas.

The 3 that will be at Texas are Catcher Jeremy Montalbano, LHP Ty Culbreth, and OF Mark Gottsacker. Montalbano is one of the newest commit and well as Mark Gottsacker. Jeremy is from Seven Lakes and Mark is from Highland Park.

Took quite a few pictures and videos;

Thanks for the update DJB - you truly rep Texas baseball to the core! Hardcore, bro!

Maybe Montalbano can nudge his buddy Caleb Benenoch and tell him to come play a li'l football at Texas!

Thanks, I look at this way. If I can bring info on players that will be playing on the 40 acres to y'all then we all can become more knowledgeable on these players.

Also, with today's technology it is getting easier to show what I am seeing. This was the 1st time that I really tried my video feature out on my camera. Not great but definitely something that I might need to continue working on.

You are our resident Baseball guy - DON'T FORGET IT! Seriously, we appreciate the insight and information you bring to the site. A lot of Texas sites neglect baseball and focus solely on football. We like a steady Augie-ball conversation here and you are a piece of ensuring it gets brought! Thanks again bud.

I understand that Football pays the bills- and it should. But to neglect one of the most storied programs in the history of College Baseball is a shame.

Plus, I love me some college baseball- D1, D2, D3, and even some Collegiate Summer League. Hopefully I will get out and catch a game or two this summer.
