#1 Camas vs #4 Chiawana

Camas returns experience at every skill position this year in their senior class. SR QB Liam Fitzgerald leads the offense. The question marks for Camas this year are an inexperienced OL & DL. Head Coach Jon Eagle doesn't shy away from playing tough non-league games, and this year is no different. After this week's matchup vs the #4 team in the state, Camas will travel to face #10 Federal Way next Saturday.

Chiawana won the State Championship in 2013 over Camas, and lost in the Championship game in 2014. Early word out of Chiawana is that they did not work as hard in the offseason as the coach wanted, and he noticed. The coach has publicly called his team to task for lackluster effort. They have the opposite of Camas happening for them in the experience department. They are breaking in a new QB, RB & OL. Three sophomores and one junior start on their OL. Chiawana's best player is their junior LB, Caleb Weber. He will also see time at RB and TE. Their new QB is a junior, Troy Simpkins.

Chiawana is very young, but if history holds, they'll be an extremely tough matchup on the road for the Papermakers tonight.
