Another excellent write-up, SHA.

Wow, DeSoto really stepped in it again this week! I predict an 0-2 start for the birds.

Yes, they did JB and thank you. But remember, they lost their opener to Cedar Hill last year and ended up being ok.

That said, did you notice that despite the lopsided loss to Cedar Park, some writer still gave Aledo a first place vote?

I guess TXHSFB beat writers are just as ignorant as AP pollers! Just sayin'

Don't forget #1 Camas Papermakers at #4 Chiawana Riverhawks Friday night.

I won't be there, will be in South Bend.  Hopefully Mrs. Joeywa will provide me with some updates.

Ok, give us the lowdown on this game. The rankings indicate a good game is about to happen. Or is Camas on another level like they've been in the recent past?

Another entertaining game on Friday pits Highland Park (Dallas) against Pulaski Academy (Little Rock). Pulaski is the team that always onside kicks and almost never punts, only 7 times in the past 7 years. They have won their state championship 4 times in 12 years under their current coach who happened to coach at a middle school in Carrollton for 4 years in the mid 90's. If you haven't heard about Pulaski, google them and read about their coach and how he came to this style of play. It's quite interesting and fascinating.
