Again, you have no foundation to claim Charlie screwed up the first round of negotiations. When you do I will accept that he screwed it up.

Further, the point is not moot. If Charlie was not allowed to make the deal then he didn't screw up, did he?

Moreover, the bungled negotiation is being used as a talking point to fire Charlie. I have no beef if people want to argue that he deserves to be fired on his record alone. That is a matter of opinion. But let's get our facts straight first.

I assume you have heard that Charlie was blamed for the negotiations failing when it was just Charlie there.

The problem is all three, but I'll give Fenves a pass because he's in charge of academics with no background or demonstrated aptitude for running athletics. What he can do, he's done.

I do care that we've got a temp in place at AD. I do care that our HC has under-performed given UT's vast resources and institutional cache. I am concerned that our administration may still find a way to screw up the next hire due to perceived instability.
