Here we go

Perhaps Wickline will not actually be calling plays or designing the playbook?

He last called plays in 1987.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Texas&src=hash">#Texas</a> hiring Joe Wickline as "OC/OL" coach is key. That way hire is not a "lateral" move triggering a hefy buyout clause, per source.</p>— Bruce Feldman (@BFeldmanCBS) <a href="

Strong spread with emphasis on running game.

Mentioned Auburn, Stanford and OU.

How about that?

A mixture of different stuff.....

This one is interesting

The job title for Watson does make you wonder.

If Wickline is the OC and playcaller then what was the point of the extra job title for Watson?

Don't burst randolf duke (or duke randolf, what ever it is) bubble. He's on a roll....

I am still wondering about the Chambers TE thing.

Maybe Strong was pursuing another OC all this time, holding onto Chambers as recruiter/admin/staff until the time came when the other OC became a no go?

Thus Chambers is back on the field, and Wickline officially the OC?

Just a guess.

Conflict .....

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Per resident insider <a href="https://twitter.com/DylanCompo">@DylanCompo</a> who knew Wickline's GA at Okie State, Wickline never called offensive plays, so there's that</p>— Curtis Leister (@leistomania93) <a href="

I dunno, and I dunno if I care.

But if I see one more claim from an "insider" I'm gonna puke...
