When is the last time you told a friend about HornSports? In the last 24 hours, the site has published:

A graphic review of an important rule change in college football

An exclusive interview with ESPN's Todd McShay

A feature story on Charlie Strong's impact on a Louisville players' life

Video content about Texas baseball

News on the Big 12's concussion policy

Earlier in the week, the site also published an interview with former baseball standout Brooks Kiescnick.

Not included in that list are an interview with Patrick Vahe, discussion of 6 new football recruiting offers, news on a new baseball commitment for 2017, live updates from the NFL Combine, and post-game coverage from the midweek baseball game.

And we'll be live at all five UT sporting events this weekend (basketball vs ISU; baseball's 4-game series vs Minnesota), providing even more coverage of all things Longhorn.

And, of course, it's all FREE to you. But, it's also free for your friend, coworker or family member.

If you're enjoying the coverage here, we need you to tell someone about it. More readers means we will be able to sustain this level of premium coverage at no cost to you.

The other way that you can help us improve is by commenting on a post that is tied to a front page story. Not only can you stimulate discussion about that article, those board posts serve as a perfect opportunity for you to tell us what you do/don't like about that particular article. We can't improve without your feedback!

Thanks - here's to hookin' em all weekend!

I REALLY do prefer this site over all others that I used to follow for Longhorn sports. I am not one to subscribe. There may be better pay sites… but that's not my thing.

Here's an email I just sent a good friend that attended UT with me… and who follows the Horns, because I sincerely felt he would find value in the site.

"Hey XXX,

Thought you might enjoy checking out this Longhorn site that I prefer MUCH more than any other.

I'll add that those of you who are PMing me and messaging me here at HS with landscape questions – you could help share both your questions (because many out there might have the same question) and my answer with others who can benefit as well by posting them in the Landscape Thread for all to see.

I don't mind fielding questions no matter how you send them, but I like it when numerous people can benefit from one person's questions.

Here is the way I would lead in:

"Are you tired of paying money to have posters and even mods take you to task every time you post a serious comment in a forum?  Would you like to participate in adult discussions without fear of someone trying to belittle you in order to show how smart they are?  Horn Sports is a good site to join in lively discussions, in addition to getting cutting edge information on our beloved university and the Big 12 conference".

Check it out - real grown ups talking real UT sports

Have rec'd it to others. Also, when posting something from here to another site, I don't just "say" HornSports.com, I always link it... HornSports.com

[edit: fixed stupid link screw up; made appointment with neurosurgeon for labotomy]

Thanks, Doc. I'd add that our effort here extends well beyond a quality forum. The content linked above is worth a daily visit whether someone posts on the board or not. In fact, for some odd reason, a lot of the content doesn't get discussed.

In my opinion, the content being produced at HornSports is comparable (or better) than anything that people pay a monthly subscription to read.

You do know you're not on HornFans, right?!?   :o

That cracked me up! Well done, Godz!

Y'all have all weekend to spread the word. There's a new Combine feature article on Jordan Hicks coming later this morning, plus we'll be live at all 3 Texas games today.

Join us on game threads for basketball, or either baseball game while you watch on TV (hoops is on ESPN2 & both baseball games are on LHN).

Also, there are links at the bottom of each REPLY box that are labeled Facebook, Twitter & Google+

All you have to do is be logged in to your respective account and click the button and it's one click to share that thread you are in. Simple.
