...stunningly engrossing! cinematic perfection! unmistakably brilliant!...

i ordered this new series sent to my office here at fob fenty, afghanistan. myself, along with a small portion of my staff, had been preparing to perform a few "night shift" duties this past week inside my office. i wanted something to help chase the time away just in case boredom ensued... for surely i would not want to end up falling asleep at my desk upon a military base.... WOW! no sleeping here.

i had anticipated watching maybe 2 episodes a night, until the series was completed... change of plans. 2 nights, 5 episodes a night... for a total of 10 episodes.... series completed!

get it! and get it now! worth every cent! you shall not be disappointed... trust me!

Looks like the new season (4) starts April 6.

If David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have their way, "Game of Thrones" really will last only seven seasons. Though seven or eight seems to be the magic number, the showrunners of the HBO hit feel that seven seasons will mean the show won't overstay its welcome.
That makes Season 4 a very special season. The upcoming season will be pivotal for the series -- literally.

"It feels like this is the midpoint for us," Benioff tells Entertainment Weekly. "If we're going to go seven seasons, which is the plan, Season 4 is right down the middle, the pivot point."

The main concern with the prospect of seven seasons is that author George R.R. Martin hasn't finished writing all of "Game of Thrones'" source material yet. "Game of Thrones" is quickly catching up to his "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels, and Martin is not known for being a fast writer.

The lesson learned season after season on "Game of Thrones," though, is for viewers to put their trust in Benioff and Weiss. If they say they can do seven seasons, then there likely is a good reason behind it.

"I would say it's the goal we've had from the beginning," Benioff tells EW. "It was our unstated goal, because to start on a show and say your goal is seven seasons is the height of lunacy. Once we got to the point where we felt like we're going to be able to tell this tale to its conclusion, that became [an even clearer] goal. Seven gods, seven kingdoms, seven seasons. It feels right to us."
