I will say, I'm an old guy but I do like the mirrored look off the Oregon Helmets,

I wouldn't mind an updated special Longhorn uni to be used once at home and once away each year but it needs to be tasteful and not this nonsense.

I agree. I think Notre Dame is a good example of a team with an alternate uniform that doesn't lose the feel of their tradition. Let's face it, the kids these days like some of this crap. We should explore some new looks. I'd even suggest that the stormtroopers get even more white.

A few other thoughts. The black socks are atrocious. The burnt orange socks are pretty cool. The numbers on the helmets were okay as a shout out but I'm glad they're not permanent.
