Texas commits Daniel Gresham and Demetrious Knox were on tour yesterday.... Gresham was at Ole Miss and Knox was at Oklahoma.

Undoubtedly just enjoying the process.... But after everything else that happened this weekend..... sheesh.

A'Shawn decommitted almost a year after he gave UT a verbal. These kids have a long time to check out the scenery before inking their names. We need to be prepared for them to take tours to see the "world."

As I tweeted earlier, you cant get mad at these kids for not being able to stick to a choice longer than 5 minutes.

Now that said, I dont think we teach our kids these days nearly enough about honor and commitment. For every Jake Raulerson, we're turning out 20 Caleb Benenochs. If you are not 100% sure of your choice, dont make it.

I also think schools shouldnt be afraid to walk away from guys who cant make up their minds. Texas needs guys who are ALL in right now, guys like Peter Jinkens, Jake Raulerson, Naashon Hughes et al.

Sgt John...Im with you on we need kids to say I want to go to TEXAS!!!!! like Mr. Swoopes..who I think has meet Vince Young..which is great for is career..but N E wayz...ABout guys like A Robinson..I said this back when he visit USC..and all the guys that decommit from the greatest Football State and school in the country...If you dont want to come to TEXAS then we dont want you here and dont commit..please! No matter what Rivals has you ranked..or if you are No.1 coming out of high school. Dont commit.. At Texas we will take a 3 star player and by his Jr year the NFL will love him.. Now at Texas..We have more heart here then any other school..and if you dont have it DONT COMMIT..lol for real...the SEC has won the last few BCS title games the last before there run was TEXAS..the last to put up a fight and test the SEC..TEXAS and the team to knock off the SEC will Be THE Univ. OF TEXAS..Hookem and we will be in the BCS this year,,mark my words...Hook em..Austin,Tx..and when ur out stop by Lockhart,Tx and get some BBQ..lol

It just seems other recruits are visiting Texas late out of boredom or to get a free expense paid weekend...but..our recruits are another story..I can see visiting ND or USC but Mississippi? I'm with the Dude on this one. Maybe we should recruit guys with a bigger ambition than backward ass Miss? Just saying.

Im all for guys seeing the world and take visits to see programs with tradition.. but when you commit its another story. Someone tell these young guys that when you commit tho you havent sign yet..thats your word..what is a man worth if he doesn't stand by his word.. Ok a change of heart I can see...but to commit then decommit so fast things like torn ACL happens(Ricky Seal Jones) no names. I dont know..I think will well win another BCS title with guys that say in there heart that "I want to be a Longhorn,whatever it takes"..I call it the Ray Lewis Passion...that my 2013 theme for this longhorns football team...Hook em with that Ray Ray passion..lol real talk
