One thing I haven't heard any of them talk about is how quickly Texas St was ready for the next play. By my average Texas St was on average was ready to snap 22 seconds after the end of the last play. Some spots were only 5 seconds. That's Mike Leach or Art Briles type numbers.

To add to that did Ball St play an offense that emphasized a three step drop offense like Texas St did?

Some thoughts about Saturday's game.

1. The IOL of Texas will be tested against the Ohio St DT's. Sark is going to have to move Arch in the pocket.

2. The pundits are dinging Texas' defense. The defense did give up some yards, but Texas State ran an offense that was a fast tempo plus returned 2 starters (QG & WR) from a top 5 offense. I don't think Ohio State runs that type of offense.

3. Collin Simmons. Nuff said.

Most “experts” I’ve heard, pick tOSU citing an advantage in the trenches.

I think our DL is pretty salty. Our OL is TBD. This week will tell us a lot about both.

I don’t listen to these clowns! They all have an agenda and prejudices. Most of us played and know football. Not to mention that a great majority of us on this board have been watching football for more than 50 years. Most of these clowns aren’t even that old.
