Two things Todd Orlando should own this loss 100% and another showing like this in any game going forward he should be let go . Second thing with the defense not being able to keep W VA from scoring then Tom has to know that he needed to go for the first down with less than a yard to make it as touchdowns is what you have to have not field goals to win this type football game. You could see this team have a total collapse for the next half of this season and I would place that blame on the defense. and Todd. Texas had to win this game and they didn't ...we still have a long way to go.

The offensive line has done fantastic job in pass protection, but they're average to below average in the run. Watson got most of his yardage today by second effort on a lot of those.
The Horns now have a reliable QB that could be a Heisman candidate next year or by his senior year. He's smart, makes the right reads, and is getting better with his accuracy. Sucks that now the defense is not there to go along with the offensive surge recently.

No moral victories but defense was plagued with injury today. Hope they get back for the rest of the schedule... could careless about “still a shot at big 12 title” talk... don’t even want to think what Murry would do to this defense round 2. Just wanna win the next few. See what happens

If Texas wins out and WVU wins out then it would be UT/WVU in Arlington. UT and OU would finish at 7-2 in the conference and UT would hold the tiebreaker over OU.

Offense played a solid game just a couple of more plays and this game would have been a W. What was the game plan to stop wv? The same plan to stop okst? Orlandos scheme blows he didnt take anything away from the offense..he sold out to stop the pass and paid for it with the wv run game..jeez our defense is not ready in the secondary to stop the pass the way orlando wants to..DBU is now DB who? Another game lost due to terrible scheme and game preperation.

Did we have any sacks in the last 2 games? I see no pressure on the QBs at all of late.

Nope. Zero sacks. The DL is horrible. Grier had every bit of time he wanted to throw the ball. Not even a semblance of pressure.

Texas only has 3 tackles for loss and 2 QB hurries along with the 0 sacks. You have to get pressure on a QB like Grier. That's how Iowa State beat him.
