I’m glad he’s doing well. He took Texas to a new level but unfortunately things got stale. I think the change was good for him. Not so much for UT so far.

It was a crappy day for UT sports. MBB played like crap, softball lost two and our hockey team lost. Let’s hope WBB can win tonight.

I didn't watch the game, but looking at the box score it looks like Texas made an effort to feed Bamba the ball. Included in the box score was 22 rebounds for Texas. That's pathetic. Rebounding is physicality and effort. I hate to say it, but it's time to cut ties with the last Patterson hire. I like Shaka Smart, I thought he was the best choice when Barnes was let go.

Smart is a likable guy with good ideals, but the coaching is severely lacking when watching this team.  He seems like Charlie Strong in that he is a great friend and role model to the players, but is not coaching well.  I agree it is time for a new hire here.  Great recruiting, mediocre coaching with poor results.  I said it before that this team will not be better next season after losing Bamba on defense, they will be worse.
