*****GAME THREAD: TEXAS VS. MARYLAND*****

Amazing!  According to Herman we are better now than any point last year.   Sorry but I dont see it.

 
Somehow this loss feels worse.  With the rain delay it feels like we lost 2 games today

 
I am really not sure what it would take to turn Texas around. I have been watching them since the 60’s and this has been a crap show for a really long time. I am tired of hear the hype before the season and coming out and not look ready and laying an egg. Just dang sure frustrating 

 
My undergrad Alma mater The University of Iowa... with a bunch 0 to 3 star players can put out a better overall output than what we showed today... and Iowa’s offense is ugly old school I-formation run the ball down your throat type football but it gets results and can get you at least 8 wins a year.  (beat tOSU in 2017, beat Michigan 2016, beats Iowa State almost annually). 

 
Man guys the sky is not falling. I know that it sucks losing but we are better than last year's team. I know everyone wants to bitch about the playcalling but honestly we are day and night better. Go back and watch the game from last year.

We do need shane running the offense.

 
Offense play calling and personal decisions continue to amaze me.

Ingram and young looked night and day better then Watson and Porter yet in the 4th we saw only Watson and Porter.

The terps literally rushed 3 and had a spy for 6 straight plays. If your OC can't figure out plays to get some yards against the same defense then he needs to be relieved of his duties.

Ehlinger continues to make the easy throws look difficult , but in saying that he rarely gets to get into any rhythm.

On the bright side we can still go 11-1

The dude in Australia can figure this out, but not our coaches on the sideline at the game! :D

 
If you look at the data for 2nd year coaches Herman losing today is on a very bad trend line. He has 11 games to change it. right now the trend is he will not make it here and we will have a new coach search sooner than later.

 
The Horns could start the season 1-3. Sky is not falling, but it sure looks cloudy outside.
