***GAME THREAD - Texas & Michigan***

HALFTIME THOUGHTS:
- Give credit to Michigan. They are taking and hitting their three point shots, not fouling and hitting their free throws. However, Texas can help themselves by drawing contact and driving the lane. I like Isaiah Taylor taking jump shots but them only getting 1 true foul in the 1st half is unacceptable.

- The Longhorns got tired when they went 8 minutes straight with no stops and it seems they haven't recovered since.

- Michigan obviously has more talent than the Longhorns but they are only down by 13 so they can still come back and win this game.
I'm so glad Rick Barnes listens to my advice :)

That guy in the middle Michigan keeps passing to in the zone has no offensive game. We need to stop collapsing on him, he won't shoot the ball. Just let him catch it in the middle.

Don't want to sound like an Ag, but anything after making the tourney was gravy for me. Go get Turner.

Ball game. Love the future of this team though. If we can get Turner I legitimately think this team can make a deep run next year. Have to give Michigan props, can't beat a team that hits jump shots like that.

Ridley leaving would mean he ignored the coaches and NBA evaluations and took some bad advice from people close to home. He is nowhere close to NBA ready. Nobody should be looking at the NBA. Holmes is the only guy that should even submit his name for evaluation and only because he's a JR.

This team desperately needs Walker, Yancy and Croaker(hope he stays but doubt it) to take big steps forward and become a major part of the rotation. Can't be truly elite with 2 1-way players(Holland-D, Felix-O) as major parts of the rotation. If those 3 develop and we somehow land Turner I don't see a place for either guy:

Starters: Taylor, Walker, Holmes, Turner, Ridley.

Bench: Yancy, Croaker, Barnett, Lammert, Ibeh, don't see where Holland or Felix would fit.

Don't forget about Barnett next year either, coming into play for Texas. Scored 20 something points last night in the state semis in MO.

Holland is a player that has a role. He at least can play shutdown defense. If Felix isn't hitting jumpers he brings nothing to the team. Barnett is very good though, going to be stealing a lot of minutes next year.
