This is a much more important win for Texas than USC. TCU is much better, a league rival and the best program in the state for the past few years. The Texas D was outstanding, which gives them confidence going up against similar style Big 12 opponents.

Besides HoeU this is the one game I wanted us to win.

For 4+ years TCU and Patterson have been a thorn in our side.

Good game.  After the pathetic showing vs Maryland and Fresno St I thought it was over.  Then again Herman lost some of those at UH as well....SMU is a prime example.

Glad we won, but something has to be done about playcalling early in games. Crazy how anemic we look on offense early on. Felt overly conservative and I feel we need to be aggressive and stop playing scared when we have leads. Defense has been lights out these past 2 weeks. Much better than the first 2 weeks
