The Texas Longhorns (2-0, 1-0) host the TCU Horned Frogs (0-1, 0-1) at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday, the second Big 12 contest of the season for both programs.  Texas brings a two-game winning streak and a Top-10 ranking into the game, while TCU looks to build on the recent success against against the Longhorns in hopes of winning their first game of the season.

The Longhorns squeaked out an overtime win against Texas Tech last weekend in Lubbock, while Gary Patterson’s Horned Frogs lost a close one at home to Iowa State 37-34.

TCU has won 5 of the last 6 against Texas and is 6-2 against the Longhorns since joining the Big 12 Conference.  And since joining the Big 12, TCU has outscored the Longhorns 233 to 134 in games played against one another.  Gary Patterson is a master at getting his players prepared for big games, and he will undoubtedly have his team ready to pull off an upset in Austin.

We're an hour from kickoff and it is eerily sparse in the stands.  

UT has a great system for temperature screening/COVID screening.  Kudos to them for the hard work they put into it.

Regarding today's game.....

Bijan Robinson is participating in warmups.  Don't think we will see him play with Ingram and Roschon in good health, but it is good to see him active after last week's injury.
