*****GAME THREAD: No. 1 Texas versus Oklahoma*****

Sark will change his offense (let someone else run it) or he will be run out of Austin within 5 years.

We’re kidding ourselves if we think this team will lose 1 or less games the rest of the year.

I posted on another site that I will be glad if Arch moves on after this season. He is Chris Simms 2.0. Texas will not win the NC this year.

ole Miss, LSU look like losses. Missouri maybe. A&M maybe if they improve.

This Texas team gets its ass handed by Georgia again. Our defense has been upgraded but our offense still blows. No QB development. I feel bad for Arch. Spent a shitload on RBs and can’t run.

Special teams and OL continue to be lackluster and the bad OL year in and out will not let us win a championship

I'm ready for KJ Lacey... and a true OC. This loss is completely on Sark. The defense gave up 1 touchdown... after a debateable roughing the passer penalty IMO. Arch isn't it. Too slow to make a decision. Complete waste of talent all over the field.

We have to have someone better at C than Robertson. He is the weak link. Teams constantly attack him and create pressure right in Arch's face. Not to mention the run game suffers. Stone absolutely abused him all game today. This OL is a major liability and it starts with him.

Everything is on the table as far as im concerned. Anyone who has been paying attention arent surprised by this result. We've gotten away with a lousy offense the last 3 games bc the mistakes werent catasteophic. Arch made 2 of the killer mistakes today and it cost us.

Cant rely on the defense THAT much without doing something offensively...and the catastrophic mistakes (plus a couple of soft penalties) helped keep sooner in it today.

I can't disagree with your sentiment, but we're committed to the course on offense. The thing that made me scratch my head was the decision to not let Cooper touch the ball in the second half. He was pounding the rock in the 2nd quarter.

Couldn't agree more. Head-scratcher for sure

Cooper needed the ball here.

Cooper needed the ball here.

Look… unless it’s obvious; err on the side of aggression! 4th and 2 or a 53 yard field goal is a no brainer. If you’re going to die, die with your boots on!!!

I’ve never gotten over MENSA kicking an extra point to tie, rather than going for the win over a much better OU / Kyler Murray team.

We took it in the shorts and feel like cowards in the process. It would feel much different to get kicked in the marbles and say, “yea but I was going for the throat.” We took it in the pants while hiding, trying to live another day!!

We have some of the best talent in all the country year after year. But we have major problems other elite teams don’t have which will not let us win championships outside of some rare luck.

#1 - OL. We’ve had some elite OL players but never had an elite line? How can any QB thrive behind below a line? Why would RBs want to come here just to damage their stats? Brooks was an outlier.

#2 - Penalties - we are still one of the biggest knuckleheads on this

#3 QB development - our QBs don’t development. Outside of Colt and Applewhite have we had any other QBs that could actually read the field, call audibles etc? Maybe Ash too. none make it as a starter in the NFL either.

#4 STs usually believe avg under Sark outside of a good returner like Niblett but he’s making a lot of close mistakes now. Last year has probably gotten to his ego
