I don’t want to be too negative after a win… but I will throw out a hypothetical…

If Sark’s entire time at Texas included an OC / QB coach, who ran the offense, called the plays and was tasked with QB development… would there be calls for him to be fired?

Defense is nasty. Muschamp doing work post Ohio St halftime.

As for the offense, meh. Where’s the polish? We are talented everywhere and no reason for that stinker.

I think we just saw what is often called a hangover game. A game right after a big, big game where the opposition is considerably less potent and the first conference game looms the week after.

At least I'm hoping thats what happened.

Here's a Fun Fact: On Saturday, UTSA didn't score a touchdown, for the first time in 7 years. Muschamp has exceeded my expectations thus far.

Sark's offense has underperformed my tepid expectations. Tepid because offense has been our weak-link ever since Sark arrived in Austin --- sans the first season. This is why I thought it was so bizarre - firing the DC last offseason! I could speculate as to why the offense has been the weak-link.... but I think the previous statement says a lot. I had high expectations because of the star studded talent collected on that side of the ball.

Let's hope this was a hangover game. Offense didn't really concern me afte weaks 1 and 2. But this game reminded me of what we have seen for much of the last 4 years: Penalties, discombobulation, failure to run effectively, inaccurate QB when people are running wide open. Let's hope this one was the exception for the season... else this Tennessee Waltz won't be very pleasurable.
