Thinking back to when I got chastized recently for bogging down a thread, it seems likes that when a thread gets bogged down like this one has, there is a certain common denominator involved. Funny how that works ?

What do you mean? Subbing his recruits? During a game? He can't put recruits in the game, they aren't enrolled yet.

In the end zone the receiver's options of where to run a route are limited, so making a pass to the corner of the box is routine stuff.

In the open field it's a different deal, I'm not going to point out the nuances of the game to you if you aren't able to see them that's on you. 53% completion ratio in that game says it all, there is a problem.

Maybe Quinn has reached his ceiling and this is all he is capable of? 

We were very  close to having a completely different outcome, one where the coach moves up in the hot seat list instead of down. Things are not getting better in the 2nd half, and we won't achieve our now attainable goals without something changing. When there is 11 in the box and your coach still won't let you throw, you are being outcoached.

Yea, we're talking about a poster that joined Surly Horns one day and got banned 4 days after his first post and after only 27 posts total with a reputation rating over there of -247. That’s a good thing while we have a QB1 who is playing worse than Casey and even Swoops. 
 As Sark says, it’s the most important position in sports. It’s naturally going to get the most discussion.
