Can someone please confirm, going into bama and I do not remember seeing a Longhorn player coming off the field with an injury. If so, give Torre Becton props!!!

We've been saying for two years that this team needs to learn how to finish. Lesson learned.

I think Saben will be fine. He has been successful with many different coordinators. They have continued to recruit at a high level.
I think what is lacking is an offensive coordinator that can bring in or develop top flite QBs. With Saben's track record for turning his coordinators into successful head coaches he should be able to find an offensive coordinator that is more of a QB whisperer.

I don't think Alabama played poorly. Their OC is much better than last year. The defense played well. The Horns just beat 'em. They will finish the season in the top 10.

I have been receiving texts and calls from all over the state and country congratulating me on the Texas win. Everyone asked the same thing: "What happened to Alabama? They don't seem to be the same team as last year"
I reminded them that Alabama won last year on a last second FG. Then I told them the answer to your question is from Bill Paxton's character (from the movie) Aliens, Corporal Hicks: Hey, maybe you haven't been keeping up with current events, but Alabama just got their asses kicked pal! The only reason the score wasn't worse was because Texas dropped two TD passes and a missed FG.

Not really non believer, Texas seems to have a solid squad, bama isnt what they used to be but they still arent a bad team. The win at bama was a quality win. Why would Bedlam be wild? OSU sucks this year.
I won't take anything for granted. We need to win one game at a time. Not looking ahead to that pounding we'll deliver in Dallas, either.
