How original considering i have been on this board longer than you.

Actually Johnny was for Card if I remember correctly. I am pulling for whoever plays the best.The fact that you and your sunshine pump crew captain @tejasrulz defend Ewers regardless of how he plays make you both more like Johnny than me. My loyalty isnt to any one player unlike you both.

Instead of throwing childish insults how about you nut up and explain how Ewers stats have dropped significantly this year?

Ewers has dropped from 119 to 127 prospect just in a few weeks. He was a 1st round last year to 4-5th round this year. Hes ranked lower than Sellers, Beck, Milroe, and probably some others, that is just in the SEC. He has the best supporting cast of players than any other QB. Cmon boys you act like im insulting your son in 5th grade football. Instead spewing garbage explain this to me. Oh and @tejasrulz you mentioned "this crap gets around" referring to the criticism of Ewers. Are you seriously saying posters here started this trend? LMAO. So everyone is wrong? Burton, media, analysts, and former players. STFU and stop getting your knickers in a twist anyone states the obvious based on stats and other people in the know.


Oh and Baron completion %....are you serious? He throws mostly 5 yard dunks ffs. This team leads the nation in yards after completion. That pads his stats. Most of Ewers throws are sideways dunks.

I cant believe I even have to post this. Ewers is having a down season. I am not hating on the kid ffs just stating the obvious. I am rooting for him to break out of his slump. I want him to play well. He is playing under his potential and if you cant see that I dont know what to say. Wanting him to succeed and stating his obvious flaws where he is underperforming are not mutually exclusive. You can desire him to succeed and at the same time point out the flaws. What the hell is wrong with that?

He is capable of playing much better, we have seen it. Something is off with him since his injury. Thats all some people are pointing out. He is playing well enough to win. Our defense is stellar, our run game has been great, the OL has been great so yea we can win without a stellar QB.

I'm not on social media nor watch Austin local news so I'm not aware of of those comments. That being said, this can be resolved easily: Play to one's ability and consistently. Receiving 7 figures (NIL) and doing a commercial attracts attention. If one wants to be the man, be the MAN.

To me, The University of Texas represents excellence. i, like others, want Texas players to perform exceptionally and consistently. Then after college go and live a productive and fulfilling life.

My son called me and asked if I wanted two tickets. He has a friend who couldn't go. He told me they were $500 per ticket. I passed. Two tickets, airline tickets, hotel, etc., I can see spending $$$$. I thanked him for the offer, but I'm going to watch the game from my recliner.
