Like I said in my blog post from earlier today - Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'm not about to get fooled twice. The leash was extended last season and we need to see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am not seeing it. Manny is gone for sure and I think there is a 50% chance Mack retires. How many coaches would kill for the Texas job? Every one but Nick Saban.

And I'll just say this. The real effed up part about last night's game is we had 2 weeks to prepare for TCU. 2 freaking weeks...... and that is what the coaches threw together???????????????????? Absolutely inexcusable.

AGREED! Great location, great people, great funding, great recruits, and all the potential in the world! Ive heard Grudens name thrown out for several potential jobs(Tennessee and another school I cant remember). If UT opens up UT provides Gruden the best potential for success and I love that dudes intensity. This is a new generation of kids... They need a strong lead by example or "Ill break one off in" you kinda coaches. UT is a final destination, not a stepping stone.

When I was a student at Texas we had Coach Mackovic and frankly we sucked for quite a while. when I was a senior we made the move to the Big 12 and played Nebraska in the championship game and beat them. We got greedy for good reason - we beat a #1/#2 ranked Nebraska team that nobody thought we could beat. The next season we got ripped by UCLA 66-3 and Mackovic was gone. Enter Mack Brown.... He brought the program back and now we are regressing. We need to capitalize on his success and keep the spotlight on this program from a national perspective. Appreciate Mack's accomplishment like you do but this program cannot be set back any furtherbecause of loyalty. Results-driven should be the standard for all coaches at Texas.

When we see a fall of in recruiting like Barnes having no commits for 2013. We have already started with JUCO players and ATM is going to be a beast with their new coach. The guy is plugged in and with the chance to play with the most talked about player in college football, Johnny Football, we are going to see some defections. Count on it.

I dont think we will lose recruits do to the A&M game. Coincidentally, in my opinion, we would risk losing recruits if A&M were still in the same division as us but since they left and the trend is for players to go to a team or division because it highlights specific areas(i.e. if you are a skill player and want your talents highlighted PAC-37 or Big 12 is where you wanna be). I also think Big 12 teams are better suited to play a team like A&M than the SEC is.

Twitter blowing up with guys calling people with questions about the direction of this programs haters and not one of them. I told them I was at Texas before some of them were born and having questions is not hating. Following blindly is being blind to what is happening. I hope some of them, good Longhorns BTW, enjoyed this year because I see more of the same if Mack stays. Especially if Mack stays without some heat.

OH yeah, and another thing to bring to your attention: We were beat at home last night by a redshirt freshman quarterback who would not have seen the light of day if cocaine were never invented.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I see this defense doing the same thing over and over. The zone read has killed this team for two years. Doesn't matter who is running the thing it is killing this team and Manny has not been able to adjust for more than one or two possessions.

Offense is a different thing entirely. Even with a average OLine I see the offense as being defeated by lack of a good QB. It's not mistakes it really dumb mistakes against teams with average or above average defenses.

but..hey I am a hater for daring to express frustration with the programs direction. I guess we will now see another DC this season. Mack is good at throwing coordinators under the bus.

Discussing realities does not make a hater. People dont get frustrated with things unless they care about them... I am very realistic about what UT is and what it was and where we could be. Thats whats wrong with the world... Too many people recognize a problem but dont have the brain power to discuss realistic solutions. Keep being frustrated and pumping out viable directions. Hopefully somebody from the school trolls these boards because they need to be taking suggestions from any source possible at this point... other than the coaches.

I do agree that Mack has made mistakes. But hell Should Bama fire Saba for getting rolled by a freshmen QB? How Chip Kelly he just let Stanford roll them at home in a game that will cost his a shot a national title. Don't forget Snyder his team got steam rolled by .500 Baylor. Now for some real discussion. Yes it may be time for Mack to step down. I think he will at seasons end.

Your taking this way to serious..I was and am having fun to keep from being so pissed off..but being serious about it..I would not trade Mack for any on this list but that doesn't mean there is not a list and if Mack doesn't put a better product on the field someone is going to take his place. Or do you enjoy being humiliated by OU year after year and becoming the brunt of UT jokes?

I know I can go over the top but I love Texas and we are all in this together.
