Gurwitz a deep fly, but caught at the warning track. 2-1 Texas after 4. Nearly impossible to hit a homer at Disch Falk. That ball would have easily been gone at Tech last weekend.

You guys can thank me for this win, I was jinxing the Longhorns.  Buddy just texted me and told me Texas came back and won with three runs in the bottom of the 9th. Apparently, it was Payton again. 

no drama....2 outs, 3-2 bases clearing double from payton to win 5-4. ho-hum.
