Did anyone from here go? I thought Ash looked better than McCoy but though both looked better. McCoy has to straighten up his footwork and actually transfer weight or he will never stop over throwing people.

The defense will just be silly at some point in 2012. Both junior college kids can flat out ball.

That is all.

I went to and ash looked a little more polished. I am hoping Brewer continus to impress so the pressure stays on ash to perform.

Are most people of the mindset now that the pressure will come from Brewer and not from McCoy?

I hear rumblings that McCoy is now impressing the coaches. Brewer is getting a lot of press also. I think this race is wide open and may not end until late summer. Can we call our quarterback monster McBrasher?

Oh my goodness, no more combination of names (even though that was funny). I think the position is Ash's to lose.

Let's not forget Overstreet rumbles into Austin this summer... Don't count out the dual-threat power to shake things up! It's win and win NOW for Texas.

Very true, we just have to remember that unless the QB position is rock solid, pulling your QB when he gets inside the red zone could crush his confidence. The only way inserting Overstreet would be a good thing would be if Ash or McCoy have a huge hold on the job.

Ash is our quarterback and I think we need to all stand behind him. It is fun to stir the pot with who will be the quarterback but Ash has the confidence of the staff and hopefully players, so let's support it. It would be awesome to have a polished and capable qb next season to compliment our near-perfect defense. Hook'em!
