The state of Texas 6A top 10 is pretty sporty. Don’t understand how Convers Judson and Lufkin aren’t nationally ranked.

I suppose because Lufkin dropped that game to Longview.

But then again, maybe there were so many California schools in the top 25 that there wasn't enough room for other Texas teams?

Hate to say it that way but its surprising to me to see so many Cali schools in the top 25. Not near the support there like in Texas. But I think it was TFB that just went out to there to see Mater Dei and St Johns Bosco play. He was said was just as physical as Texas ball.

Nevertheless, its interesting that we only have three teams in the top 25, well behind California and Florida.

#3 Liberty Hill will go deep in the playoffs. My Billies stood toe to toe with Tivy and almost came back to beat Boerne, but Liberty Hill came to Fredericksburg and completely dismantled the Billies 69-7. Their only blemish is a one point OT loss to Hutto, a team that's a classification higher, and team that is making a lot of noise in the 5A Austin area.

Friend of mine was at the Liberty Hill and Fredericksburg game, said Liberty Hill was amazing

Totally forgot about the Longview game, and I listened to some of that on the radio while driving home from Nac (duh).  But agree, lot of bias towards Cali.  Wife's nephew played for Centennial, even he says he gives the nodd to Texas Teams overall.  Oh and he's a huge Longhorn fan, still trolls his friends who are USC followers :)
