Houston, Beaumont areas back in action

And we’re back in action! After the disaster that was Hurricane Harvey, and despite ongoing relief efforts taking place – a return to normalcy will happen this Friday night as a full schedule of Houston-area teams and Beaumont area teams will return to action.

8. CAMERON RISING, QB, Newbury Park CA  lost to Westlake 42-40, Friday. Rising had 216 yards passing, 3 TD passes, 116 yards rushing and 3 rushing TDs, including one for 65 yards. Leading receiver and TE are out indefinitely. Newbury Park lost one fumble at the goal line and another in the end zone, to spoil the would-be win.

9. KEAONTAY INGRAM, RB, Carthage defeated Liberty-Eylau 48-38, Friday. Ingram rushed 19 times for 80 yards and scored 1 TD.

While searching down stats for Rondale Moore this evening, I saw lots of positive commentary on him from Florida HS football fans who apparently were watching the game on TV. I was on a message board which was dealing with the game.

Waco Midway defeated its second ranked team of the season tonight, beating Temple after beating Cedar Park.
