The Mesquite Horn / Temple game was not OT. Mesquite Horn scored with 8 seconds left. They got the ball at their 9 yard line with 1:33 left.

Some controversy about this game as last week Temple pulled their starters at halftime leading Copperas Cove 12-7. They only threw 3 passes in second half, did not use any timeouts and let time expired. By losing Temole avoided playing Longview at Longview and play 3-7 Mesquite Horn at Temple.
