Friday news dump

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Friday the least optimal day to announce something of this magnitude? Don't reports that want to "go under the radar" get dumped to Friday afternoon/evening in hopes most people are not paying attention to news and instead are relaxing with their families.

Best case for getting news out is sometime before the NC or it will get folded into the offseason. The closer to the NC game, the bigger the story on gameday.

Yes you are right, so Monday morning will be the biggest day for the annoucement of Saban to Texas to the World. But we could know tonight (HS Family of Posters) and not say anything until Monday morning.
