Allegedly, Paul Finebaum has tendered his resignation to ESPN after less than a year on the job. He swears it has nothing to do with his promise to vacate his position if Texas were to hire Saban away from Alabama. Supposedly, he's long had a dream to be a dishwasher at Tuscaloosa's Dreamland BBQ. When the position came open, Finebaum said it was just too good to pass up. ;)

Yeah, wondering if his "resignation", is similar to Mack's departure. He's been a train wreck IMO and can't help but put an SEC slant on everything.

I'm listening to him on the radio now, says Texas will fail. Surprise, says Texas including the fans are arrogant.

He is a twit who may have actually been a decent writer 30 years ago, but as a radio broadcaster he is nothing more than an SEC shill. The few times I have heard his show through satellite radio I have been embarassed for both him and the ravening lunatics that call in to his show. The collective sum intellect of Finebaum and his callers is surpassed by the average 3rd grade class in suburban America. He exists and has built a following by glorifying the SEC and building up the fragile egos of their fanbase. His broadcast would be cancelled within months if his primary audience was anywhere outside of the southeast.
