Very disappointing from the 2nd pitch tonight. Very uncharacteristic baseball played by Texas tonight. Hopefully we can regroup and get our stuff together. Not real sure where Ruger's head is at right now but Max needs to figure it out.

Schloss did mention that 8-9 guys have been dealing with the flu this past week - including Ruger. Hopefully that is the explanation for our lackluster play as of late because its been a pretty terrible stretch of 4 games.

LSU did us a favor and beat Arkansas in extra innings last night.

We maintain a 2 game lead in the conference and our magic number to win the conference outright and earn the 1 seed for the tournament drops from 5 to 4.

We want at least 1 more LSU win but probably not a sweep (at that point LSU would move into second place and they play bottom feeder South Carolina next weekend, Arkansas play Tenn next week).

Just so happens that they played Texas A&M in college station to improve to 1-24
