Per 247 he's announcing on September 16th. This might actually happen. Looking like a very real possibility for the good guys. Crystal balls are trending Texas. Number 41 player in the country per 247 (number 37 composite).

247 is reporting that Barnes will have an in the home visit with Davis on Monday.

Yes. McQuaid has a better jumper IMO, but Davis is a better scorer. Davis also has better handles so he can play a little combo guard. Like I've said several times, I'm a huge Davis fan. Something raw and instinctual about his game that I like. 

I will say this, both are listed as shooting guards but are completely different players. If we get Davis I'll take McQuaid over Roach. IMO Roach and Davis are similar molds. I wouldn't mind all 3, but if we are only taking two it needs to be Roach or Davis and McQuaid.

I could see Barnes only taking 1 out of the 3. Not sure if he passes up on taking at least 1 out of Roach and McQuaid (that's if Texas gets Davis). I think it's very unlikely we take all 3 though. I think this a 1 or 2 deal. 

The only reason I think there's a chance we take 2 is I don't think Texas will be taking a PF or Center in this class, unless an elite player like Zimmerman becomes interested. I don't think Texas is going to reach this year when the 2016 class is loaded with big men. I'm not overly impressed with the big guys in this class to be honest, a little over hyped if you ask me. 

Either way it should be interesting how it plays out. If all we get is Davis, I'll be pretty dang happy.

I think Davis is ours. This article indicates that Michigan State stopped actively recruiting Davis in the summer. Michigan State was the team that worried me.

The only other team that could potentially beat us out for Davis IMO is UNLV. We both had the last two visits. I asked the UNLV guys on rivals what they were hearing and they aren't confident, they think he's heading to the Horns.

Interesting sounds like Texas is after Roach as a PG.
