Really can't blame Smythe. Stanford does the best job utilizing and developing TE's. None really carved out a niche in UT's offense as consistent pass-catchers. Power to him.

Shameful we cannot groom a real tight end to play a part in this offense. I am also down with the notion that if kids decommit then it is for the best. We do not want anyone to play at Texas if they aren't interested in wearing burnt orange. Plain and simple.

ND has been backchanneling this for awhile. The family didn't like Harsin, but ultimately belief Major.wont use TEs was the final nail.

Keep in mind he didn't.show up at the banquet.
