SignUp Now!Awesome news. He's done some great things for Texas but its past time for him to go.Per Chip Brown Dodds will step down as Texas AD in December. A new AD will be named before or in December. Change is coming folks
I don't see Mack moving too AD. It has to be someone else. It just HAS to be.Change wont be that significant if mack becomes the new AD.
Love the bag..First time I remember the bag was the "Unknown Comic", and the fans at Saints games..The Mack to AD move wouldn't surprise me but it would be equally as demoralizing.
perhaps will_hookem wants Mack Brown to stay in Austin so that he can go out with him ... (free dinners and such ...)I don't see Mack moving too AD. It has to be someone else. It just HAS to be.
You seem to be here to add nothing? You posts are starting to be trollish..perhaps will_hookem wants Mack Brown to stay in Austin so that he can go out with him ... (free dinners and such ...)
I was told if i didnt stay in line, i would be fired, and then i wouldnt be let back into the inner circle when things got better..perhaps will_hookem wants Mack Brown to stay in Austin so that he can go out with him ... (free dinners and such ...)
And one last thing... This whole cliff dive we are taking, seemed to start around the inception of LHN. Its been overwhelming for the major sports in the program.. Cant coach and be on tv at the same time...

"Everyone has a price". Money talks. Spurrier would cost, but a lot less than Saban.I was told if i didnt stay in line, i would be fired, and then i wouldnt be let back into the inner circle when things got better..
I like to look at the glass half full all the time... Mack and Dodd did great things for Texas in their tenure, but time has passed them by. Change is the hardest thing for any organization to do, but the elite make that change when needed. If we are gonna get back to that elite status, it is time. Basketball hasnt just deteriorated, but its nose diving off a 100 foot cliff. Players are transferring right out of town quick! Baseball has started that cliff dive also.
And yes Austinite i would even take spurrier for a year or two, if it would fix this mess. I just dont see him coming at all. Honestly and this will hurt to say this, but why would you leave the SEC right now to go the big 12. We might be Texas right now, but the culture built by our administration, has given the kids a sense of self entitlement. We needed to be humbled. We need to get back to being hard working and tough.
Still riding the Spurrier nut sack I see. What are you, his son, nephew, agent??"Everyone has a price". Money talks. Spurrier would cost, but a lot less than Saban.
Spurrier fixed Florida and South Carolina.
Mack Brown for years simply got a lucky / free ride of wildly inflated ratings from the media (because of Texas), Vince Young & company, and weak schedules.
