It can still change between now and Saturday, but for now they have a 60% chance of rain for game day. Scattered thunderstorms so we're looking at some heavy downpours at times.

Should be interesting to see what kind of advantage/disadvantage this creates and for whom.

Oh and OU sucks.

Thanks for this. I checked my weather app yesterday, but was planning on asking for a local forecast today.

My forecast also showed a chance on F & SU, so it looks like Saturday is a pretty sure thing.

(Yes, I'm a weather nerd!)

you afraid it's going to bog down our high-flying passing game ?

i hope it's blowing sideways and the field turns into a bog. keep the score in the teens. single digits if possible. we're not doing well when the other team gets to 20.
I was thinking more along the lines of defense. Our secondary has been good while our run defense has struggled.

According to the hourly forecast for Saturday, 40% chance through 11 am, then 30% through 2 p.m. where it then becomes a 60% chance for the rest of the day.

You may be dry through halftime-3rd qtr. Maybe.

The rain storm/hurricane last week would be cool to play in. Do they delay games for 70mph winds?

bog i say. BOG !!! ankle deep mud, blinding rain !! swarms of locust if we got 'em !!!

We may discover that Swoopes is a mudder!  I'm certain that some of you know horse racing slang.  I learned it from an acquaintance.

If I were a betting person, I would wager that Charlie will have the right cleats as the stadium for any conditions.

Hook 'em!
