In my opinion, this is a good hire with the potential to be great. His defenses have been near the top in the country the last few years and his fire and emotion can bring great changes. That being said, you can't exactly expect a 10 win season next year can you? Remember what we just saw last Monday. He needs to build up the program, so if he doesn't come in and dominate right away, I don't see how people could be upset. Just my opinion on things.

Yep, i remember a horrible QB and a horrible Offense costing us a competitive game.

I expect 10 wins next year. not a playoff birth but 10-2 with the right system in place to do some damage in 2015.

I expect him to win the Conference. Next year or at least within two. That is what we f'ing hire a HC to do. I don't want any excuses. Sick of those. He should expect no extra time to do it. Blaming Mack won't cut it for me any more than Obama blaming Bush. That's what losers do, and that is the culture we've been living with.

If he is the culture change then get the hell out there and win immediately. If he has any other attitude we are all already screwed.

It could be a GREAT hire, but nowhere near a splash. Certainly not going to switch any recruits for this year's class. But he could be the change in culture and accountability that we so desperately need.

But this BS about having to rebuild I am not sure I buy. We are not without talent. Sure we are missing a great QB, but we have running backs, and an excellent OL class from last year. Our recruiting classes have been decent the last couple of years. He should be expected to put up wins next year for sure. If not, his run will be very short.
