Mack Brown says David Ash is not having symptoms from concussion, but has lost 10 pounds and has not been released to practice!

SignUp Now!It is pretty evident Ash returned too soon. I'm pretty sure Ash is done for the year.Crazy. I swear if he rushes a Ash back and Ash gets another concussion when he returns, they should fire him on the spot.
It's not Mack's decision. No one's "rushing Ash back." If he's cleared to play, by the Docs, then it's David's decision whether to play or not. IMO, he'll be back THIS season.Crazy. I swear if he rushes a Ash back and Ash gets another concussion when he returns, they should fire him on the spot.
Exactly. Too many (most) are blaming Mack for Ash going down for a 2nd time. Ash was cleared by team doctors, not by Mack or any other coach. I'd like someone to name 1 coach in the country that was told his starting QB had passed all necessary tests and was cleared to play that would say "nah, I'll roll with my backup QB. Thanks though Doc, appreciate the info."It's not Mack's decision. No one's "rushing Ash back." If he's cleared to play, by the Docs, then it's David's decision whether to play or not.
