SignUp Now!That was what was so frustrating about tonight. The pitching has stepped up in these first two games and we got no run support. I think that may have been the first time this season we haven't scored at least two runs.I'm just not sure there's a great team in that region. I thought Coastal Carolina was the best 2 seed in the country but I didn't realize they lost 2 starting pitchers to injury recently. I will say Cal is an underrated 3.
But yeah, A&M is screwed in the pitching department.I'm not even sure who they will throw tomorrow. They've been trying to figure out the #3 starter for about a month now, and to no avail. I think they tried to start Vinson in the SEC tournament and he got ripped apart. Their best option for the #3 starter was probably Hendrix and he threw close to 100 pitches tonight in relief. This is the last team that wants to be in the losers bracket.
I think A&M has a chance to advance because of the bats, but I certainly wouldn't put any money on that.
