It is very sad to hear that she has passed away.  I see the struggles that my Mom goes through now that my Dad has passed away.  Certainly the Way family will struggle as well.  As with all things Bill Little, this is a great story (thanks for sharing), yea made me tear up.  The quote "death ends a life, not a relationship" is so important to remember. My hopes and prayers for comfort and courage go out to the Way's.
