Connor Williams

That is Great News about Williams.

I hope people realize the sacrifice Conner is making by not having surgery. If he had surgery to repair a torn meniscus its a 6 month recovery to resume normal activity. Its actual longer than the recovery for a torn ligament because you cant protect it with a brace. You basically have to stay off of it and the location doesn't have good blood flow so it takes forever to heal.

He is basically going to play with the pain and hope to control any swelling. I imagine he is delaying the surgery until the season ends.

Still not sure we see Williams again this season. Smart play would be to heal up and go get his money come Draft season.
Any chance he heals up and returns?  I mean, we all seem to assume that he'll take the money and run?  The kid is from the affluent City of Coppell.  Assuming money isn't his only motivation, is it possible that this kid has set goals that he couldn't accomplish due to injury?  And that a return to accomplish those goals is possible?  Just throwing that out there...

All signs point to him coming out right now. He will more than likely be encouraged to leave after the knee injury at this point.

Money may not necessarily be his motivation and I’m sure he would want a crack at the Outland (should have won it last year), but he has to think about his future.
