You got rid of the ads that said, "click to close", but didn't close.  My heroes!

I must admit that those ads were so annoying there was no way I was even going to look at their product, much less buy it.  Thank you, one and all.

Hook 'em!

I'm just patiently waiting on the Mercedes, Emirates Air and Four Seasons ads.

How about the Apple watch?

Thought it was supposed to be versatile as per goes with everything.

Don't diss Apple.  I have invested in that stock.  Two years ago. Sucked for a while, but looking better

these days. Go Apple!

I want an Apple watch--don't laugh.  Just not certain how one would take a call on it.  :-)  Saw a price on it once for $348...not too bad, given that my iphones last forever.  Of course by now the phone may have been priced out of sight, and I'm not entirely certain that I could even read the screen.  Need to see it.

Schools expect us to monitor cell phones which irritates me to no end.  When we have 45-50 minutes to take attendance, teach a lesson, check their work, assign and collect  homework, and distribute makeup work to all of the students who have been absent yet refuse to come in to get it before or after school, it seems to me that monitoring students to see if they are texting is pointless.

I am inclined to let them fail, but that is no longer politically correct.  Ironically, it gets most of the kids' attention faster than anything else.  Teachers need to spend their time teaching and helping students learn.  Texting is the new doodling.  If they want to doodle during class, it's their loss.

My high school moved to block scheduling almost 8 years ago. Essentially, you go to 4 classes on Monday then your other 4 on Tuesday (instead of 8 in one day). This means each class period is 1.5 hours instead of 45 minutes.

It has been a HUGE hit with teachers and students alike.
