Common Man Predictions – Week 4

Texas specific predictions:

Texas banged up at RB and the healthiest/most skilled RB is Jerrick Gibson. ULM is light upfront on the D-line. I think we see a lot of Gibson in the power run game, 10-15 rushes
- Gibson goes over 100 yards

No way ULM can keep up with our skill talent and Arch will distribute the ball effectively. Sark will look to get him plenty of quality passing reps and I also look for multiple WRs to have good games once again.
- Arch with TDs to 3 different receivers

ULM has a run heavy offense and despite being far behind on the scoreboard, I think they continue to run the ball at a heavy clip. I think we will devote resources to stop the run and leave our DBs on an island. Defense slows the running attack significantly but will face 30 plus attempts.
- ULM goes over 100 yards on the ground, <150 through the air
Texas drops a safety into the box and forces Booty to throw. We get three sacks and two interceptions.

I think we load the box, I think they still try to force the run game. I don't think it goes well for them. They've averaged 15 throws a game, I'd be surprised if that number goes above 20. If it does, I like your sack and int predictions.

- Gibson got banged up himself and Blue was healthy. It was Blue who went over 100 yards
- Arch with 2 TDs to 2 receivers. Lots of redzone opportunities and we opted to power run it in
- ULM passing and rushing for around 50 yards each on 25 attempts. A dominant defensive performance

Ding ding ding, this ended up being spot on.

ULM remained situationally pretty run heavy but definitely tried to open things up passing more than they have so far this year. Didn't work well for them. 25 passing attempts for 54 yards.

Ladies and Gents, we had a close race this week. Nobody did very well with their picks but we still have a winner.

UTFish, NE Okla, BruiseLee, and Texbound each had five losses this week.

But Hook'em Orb only had four losses and damn near picked the final score, predicting a 52-6 wini.

Congratulations to HookemOrb on having the best picks this week! I hope you enjoy the new steak knives!
